Dawn April Lonsinger is a poet and a teacher. She was my professor at the University of Utah a couple of years ago and it was one of the best classes I have ever been enrolled in. She wrote a collection of poetry entitled "Whelm" published by Lost Horse Press in 2012 and winner of the 2012 Idaho Prize in Poetry. There was an audio segment of her speaking on the radio about "Whelm" and then reading a poem from her book called "The Case Of Lydia." I was lucky enough to run into her posting the audio on Facebook, and recorded it so that one day I could do something like this. And I finally got around to it. So cheers to one of the most inspiring people I've ever met, Dawn Lonsinger.
